The two lowest-seeded teams in the Final Four will square off in the championship game of the Sunday Morning Hockey League. It'll be the Blades - third-place finishers - against the Mercurys, the fourth seed. During the regular season, the 'Mercs finished second, while the Blades took up the No. 4 spot. The Mercurys earned their place in the finals by dumping the Hornets, 4-1. Trevor Klee scored twice for the winners. The Blades advanced by virtue of a 4-3 overtime decision over the Buckeyes. Jake Hamilton potted the game-winner in that contest.
The Blades and Mercurys will meet at 6 p.m., on Sunday, April 27, on Rink One.
